Year 11 got their GCSE results today - that'll be me next summer! How exciting. If you're reading this and you've just got your results, how'd you do? I'm not being nosey, I'm just curious. And did you think it was difficult? The exams that is. I'm a little worried about them at the moment seeing as I'll be starting them soon.

Onto another subject, I'm going camping tomorrow with my dad & friend Holly. We're going to the Herstmonceux Festival which is largest Medieval Festival hosted England. I can't wait! It's going to be excellent - plus Holz gets to meet my family for once.
God help her.

So whilst I was surfing around blog.co.uk, I realised that many of the members are of the generation above me. I found this quite interesting actually as many of the blogging websites I've been on are swarmed by 11 year olds who just kill it. With this though, having (please don't be offended) older people online, it gives the site a bit more of an educated aura around it.
Alright, not the best explination but I know what I mean.

My friend just text me her GCSE results - and she did really well! Awwh, congrats B! <img src="/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":>>" class="middle" border="0">
Some of the people in my year who took French for GCSE did the fast-track course meaning they do the whole thing in one year. Tanya, another of my friends was on the fast-track and managed a C in her exams. I'm so proud!
Holly should have also picked up her results today for her French, but she was asleep. I guess she'll have to wait until they come in the post.

Books with bad endings are, in my opinion, one of the worst things imaginable. Imagine reading a book that is so absolutely fantastic that you can't put it down. But once you get to the end, you're disappointed because it didn't achieve your expectations that you had for it. It's such a let down after such an amazing story.

You see, I've just finished reading Breaking Dawn. I have to say the story as a whole is simply incredible. It has so many twists and turns in it you just don't know what will happen next. But once I'd finished I was a little disappointed. I mean, by the end of it (SPOILER ALERT!) Jacob doesn't like her and likes someone else, Charlie's not alone and Bella can let Edward read her thoughts. All the stuff she was worried about, all the things that should have stayed the same turned out alright. Where's the action? Where's the mystery? I sort of wanted someone to die in the book as well, one of the main characters perhaps. But instead Irina dies and that just means nothing. If Charlie or Carlisle had died it would have been a lot more interesting. Although saying that, I think Stephenie Meyer would have been hunted down and eaten by her fans if she killed a main character off.
Saying this, the story did have a lot of suspense at the end what with the Volturi bring the whole guard with them to make sure Renesme is killed. That part I did find gripping but even so, I was hoping for at least a little bit of a fight. Not just all talk and understanding. Aro shouldn't have been so civilized. Don't get me wrong, I didn't want the Cullens and their friends to lose and die, I just wanted a bit more action - perhaps similar to the battle with Victora and the newborns in Eclipse just on a larger scale.
Other then that, I thoroughly enjoyed Breaking Dawn and I'm looking forward to Midnight Sun and the Twilight Film. <img src="/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":>>" class="middle" border="0">
However, Midnight Sun isn't complete yet and so I'll have to wait a bit longer. The film is out in the UK on January 1st 2009 so hopefully I'll be able to see it a few days after my birthday.

Something I've just found out, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has had it's release date pushed back a few of months. Before, they were planning to release it on November 21st 2008 but now it's being release July 17th 2009. Talk about a date swap.
I'm heartbroken now.

It's awful.

Right, let me explain. Oh dear, I'm going to sound so spoilt and bratty when I say this.
So, I really wanted to dye my hair brown because I was bored of it being somewhere between blonde, mouse and brown. But before I could dye it, I had to have a colour test to see if I was allergic to the dye. And surprise surprise. I'm allergic. I now have a reaction behind my ear (that's where they put the colour test) which doesn't look very nice. Oh and more joys, it's growing.

Enough with my ranting now. On to more interesting things.
I have my prom next year seeing as it's my last year in secondary/high school - finally. And earlier today I was looking up harajuku fashion on the internet to see if there were any websites that sold items cheaply. However, instead of finding harajuku I stumbled upon a website called http://www.dollydagger.co.uk and found this absolutely amazing 1950's-inspired prom dress:

I'm actually in love with it. I've been hunting for a prom dress for a while - even though it's just under a year away - and now I've found my perfect one. I've also managed to pursuade my mum to buy it for me. <img src="/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":>>" class="middle" border="0"> Just not yet seeing as I'll've probably grown by the time prom gets here.
And I think if anyone from my year in my school turns up in the same dress I'd cry. <img src="/img/smilies/icon_censored.gif" alt=">:XX" class="middle" border="0">
Oh dear, that sounded so horribly unlike me.

But back on to the subject of DollyDagger, it's such an amazing online-store. It sells all things from t-shirts to dresses to shoes to earrings. It sounds as if I'm getting paid to promote it but trust me, I'm not. I'm just a huge fan!
